Assistant Manager-SCM-Footwear

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a relevant discipline.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in export-oriented footwear or manufacturing industries.

Strong knowledge of export supply chain operations, including raw material sourcing, import procedures, shipment planning and delivery schedules.

Experience in international vendor coordination, supplier negotiation, lead-time management and cost optimization to meet export production requirements.

Controlling and managing company`s suppliers focusing on the materials for production

Working with multiple vendors and ensure best price along with quality

Coordinating, supervising, evaluating and planning for all purchase after consulting

Ensuring raw materials and parts at the most competitive price and on time delivery

Identifying new suppliers, developing vendor, agreeing terms and negotiating supply agreements

Establishing strategic relationships with key suppliers

Assessing performance of the vendors based on various criteria

Continually improving purchasing methods

Fostering close working relationships with other departments
