Job Context:
∎ Ensure optimum utilization of financial resources through effective & efficient financial forecasting & planning and implementation to support Group business process towards achieving its annual target.
∎ It is all about working under a demanding environment that consist of ensuring finest use of Group financial resources through efficient and effective financial planning and monitoring & supervising execution (by doing all relevant activities of the position) of the plan that enable smooth business operation toward achievement of organizational goal.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Formulation of Annual Financial Budget/Plan considering all possible factors that are affecting business process.
∎ Achieving Group Top line and bottom line, net profit target as agreed Annual Business Plan.
∎ Responsible for the execution of finance & Accounts operation complying with company policy.
∎ Responsible for process improvement of overall finance & Accounts activities in the Group.
∎ Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting that enables top team decision making.
∎ Develop and implement "Profitability Improvement Plan".
∎ Monitoring total operating cost and interest cost.
∎ Managing working capital; balancing size of loan with business requirement, negotiating cost & limit and ensuring proper utilization.
∎ Key role in driving several IPO process: Develop and implement plan to prepare for a future IPO.
∎ Assist with presentations to shareholders, investors, and potential partners
∎ Supervise VAT & TAX related matter such as oversee calculation and compliance with Tax, VAT and other laws and regulation while making all payments and to ensure to deposit the same timely to Bangladesh Bank and prepare 75A.
∎ Plan Corporate Tax together with the interpretation of the yearly changes in Tax and VAT laws.
∎ Supervise the internal audit functions consisting operational, engineering and financial stream as well as to review the internal control system and where required to design or to re-engineering the system.
∎ To randomly check operational bill, receiving, requisition, Rate analysis, company policies, petty cash etc. and to conduct risk assessment and prepare risk based audit program.
∎ To establish internal control environment and compliance with the policies & procedures; and to draft special report on internal audit observation and on business strategy to the management.
∎ To review the payment process of all internal and external parties' payments and to control and monitor the payables and expenses as well as utilize the credit fund in the optimal way.
∎ To oversee the cash and liquidity management, liquidity planning, liquidity reserve, active cash management and working capital management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 37 years
∎ Requires demonstrating abilities to be committed to stress targets, open and good communicator and team player, extensive knowledge of accounting processes and its effect on business
∎ Minimum 10-12 years of relevant experience in MNC or locally reputed organization
∎ Key Success Factors:
∎ Achieving Annual Group Top & Bottom line, Group profit and PBT target.
∎ Managing total operating cost of sales.
∎ Managing interest cost of working capital.
∎ Ensuring Return on Equity (ROE).
∎ Ensuring PAT.
