1. Sales & Business Development Develop and execute sales strategies for textile chemicals. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Identify new customers, textile mills, dyeing factories, washing plants, and garment manufacturers. Develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts. Prepare sales forecasts and sales plans. Monitor market demand, competitor activities, and chemical pricing. 2. Customer Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with textile mills and key decision-makers. Regularly visit customers to understand their production and chemical requirements. Handle customer complaints and coordinate solutions. Negotiate prices, payment terms, and commercial conditions. Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention. 3. Technical Support Understand the application and performance of textile chemicals such as: Pretreatment chemicals Wetting/scouring agents Sequestering agents Enzymes Detergents Leveling agents Dispersing agents Fixing agents Softeners Silicone products Optical brighteners Finishing chemicals Provide technical recommendations based on fabric type, dye class, machine, process, and required quality. Support customers during lab trials, bulk trials, and production trials. Analyze trial results and recommend dosage/process optimization. Work closely with the technical/R&D team to develop new products and applications.4. Product Development Identify gaps in the market and recommend new chemical products. Conduct competitor-product comparisons. Collect customer feedback for product improvement. Support development of cost-effective and sustainable chemical formulations. Promote ZDHC, bluesign®, OEKO-TEX®, GOTS and other compliant products where applicable. 5. Commercial Responsibilities Prepare quotations and commercial offers. Monitor customer orders, deliveries, outstanding payments, and credit limits. Coordinate with supply chain, warehouse, finance, and logistics teams. Monitor gross margin and profitability by product/customer. Negotiate annual contracts and major customer agreements. 6. Market & Competitor Analysis Monitor competitor products, prices, technologies, and market strategies. Track major textile industry trends. Identify opportunities in knit, woven, denim, washing, printing, and garment processing. Prepare regular market intelligence reports for management. 7. Team Management Lead and supervise sales executives/technical sales personnel. Set individual sales targets and KPIs. Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews. Train sales staff on textile chemical applications and technical selling. Accompany sales teams on important customer visits. 8. Compliance & Sustainability Ensure products meet customer RSL/MRSL requirements. Support ZDHC Gateway/chemical compliance requirements. Coordinate chemical documentation such as: SDS/MSDS TDS COA ZDHC certificates OEKO-TEX certificates Product specifications Promote low-impact, water-saving, energy-saving and sustainable chemical solutions.
