Educational Requirements:
∎ A university degree, preferably a graduate degree in Gender Studies, Anthropology, Sociology, Development Studies, Management or any other relevant subject areas of Social Sciences.

∎ Duration of Contract : 31 July 2019 , if not extended
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key responsibilities include (not limited to)
∎ Oversee and supervise the implementation and execution of entire program activities.
∎ Ensure that all the activities implemented in the MPWC ensure the safety and dignity for women.
∎ Supervise the designing and decorating of the MPWC, ensuring compliance to the internal and international guidelines.
∎ Assess the capacity needs of the protection staff to prepare and implement a capacity building plan to bridge the gap in knowledge and skills they have while ensuring the best utilization of budgets to do so.
∎ Develops and maintains effective coordination and long-term relationships with external stakeholders, representing AAB in local and international protection coordination mechanisms.
∎ Monitor quality of field performance on a continuous basis.
∎ Build and assure the capacity of all staff on protection standards.
∎ Incorporating strategies aimed at strengthening the protection system, both formal and informal, to achieve and sustain program results.
∎ Lead the development of technical reports, and other knowledge products in the areas of protection.
∎ Work closely and coordinates with AAB logistics, finance and admin staff to ensure timely and compliant program activities and expenditures; including active participation in program meetings.
∎ Effectively represents AAB at Protection coordination forums, like the Protection Working Group/Protection Cluster
∎ Track the progress of the program and intervene when necessary to ensure speed and quality. Perform/Support all forms of reporting.
∎ Prepare technical specifications, SOP/Guidelines and Q/A guidelines
∎ Integrate protection-mainstreaming principles throughout all protection activities
∎ Assure AAB values, principles and HRBA is mainstreamed in the program.
∎ Monitor budget utilization and ensure timely intervention when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years or more of sound experience in project management especially with the focus on women's empowerment, livelihoods and/or life-skills programming. Experience of working with Rohingya community or in refugee context will be given preference.
