Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary:-
Responsible for supervising and controlling daily stenter machine operations to ensure smooth production, required fabric quality, and achievement of production targets. The position requires proper monitoring of machine parameters, manpower utilization, fabric quality, and process efficiency while ensuring compliance with production plans, buyer requirements, and factory safety standards.
Supervise daily stenter machine operations according to the production plan.
Ensure achievement of daily production targets and machine efficiency.
Monitor machine parameters, including temperature, speed, overfeed, and fabric width.
Ensure finished fabric meets required GSM, width, shrinkage, and quality standards.
Identify and control finishing defects such as crease marks, bowing, skewing, and uneven width.
Ensure proper machine settings according to fabric composition and buyer requirements.
Supervise and manage operators and helpers to ensure effective manpower utilization.
Coordinate with QC, Dyeing, Maintenance, and PPC departments for smooth production.
Minimize machine downtime, fabric wastage, and production losses.
Maintain daily production reports, machine records, and shift handover information.
Ensure proper machine cleaning, maintenance, and housekeeping.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and factory rules.
