Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager with a background in B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our technical product capabilities and market needs, sales and client relationships through technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and marketing chemical products, raw materials to target industries.
Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
Understand client technical requirements and recommend appropriate product solutions.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and analyze competitor activities.
Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and manage commercial negotiations.
Provide post-sales technical support and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
Coordinate with the R&D and production teams to align products with market feedback.
Regular customer visit to maintain the business relationship with existing and potential customers.
Prepare Annual Business Plan and implementation.
Assist management in formulating talking business strategic decision by providing up to date marketing information.
Educational Requirements:
B.Sc. / University degree in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering from a recognized Collage under National University/ University.
An MBA or PGD in Marketing will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in technical marketing and industrial sales.
Additional Requirements:
Strong understanding of chemical properties, industrial processes, and safety standards.
Familiar with indenting, international shipment (by Sea/by Air) & custom regulation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in both English and Bengali.
Ability to travel frequently for client meetings and industrial site visits.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
